A Legacy of Craftsmanship
The foundation of S&R Tool was laid in 1990 when Fred and Verna Doerscheln established Doerco Industries, Inc. Starting in a modest 2,200-square-foot facility equipped with manual machines, they built a reputation for excellence in machining details, fixtures, and custom machine tools.
A New Chapter Begins
When Fred decided to retire in 1999, he offered Sam and Rich the opportunity to carry forward the legacy he had built. They accepted, and S&R Tool was born. While the name changed, the foundational principles remained unchanged: unwavering commitment to quality, honesty, and integrity in every project.
Growth & Evolution
The transition from manual machining to advanced CNC technology marked our evolution in capabilities, but our dedication to precision remained constant. As our reputation and client base grew, so did our need for space. In 2008, we expanded to our current state-of-the-art 10,428-square-foot facility, situated on 10 acres in Lakeville, NY.
